I always draw graphite portraits from photos I have taken. Jarek was a caricaturist on the Charles Bridge in Prague and we got to talking. I loved his look, his happy smile, so asked him if I could take his photo to draw a portrait from. He agreed. It was early spring, and he was so glad to be out on the bridge drawing, after a cold, snowy, miserable winter.
